In June 1811, the Spanish General Staff published their report on the battle of Albuera. It makes an interesting read when you are used to reading english language reports. This is the first translation of this important work.

Just added to Kindle : Charles Steevens' Reminiscences of my Military Life. Steven was in the 20th Foot and served in Egypt 1800, fought at Maida 1806, Walcheren 1809 and in the Peninsula. This is a new edited version with the addition of a map of Walcheren.
