I am working on editing the letters of another engineer officer, Lancelot Machell. He served in the Peninsula in 1813 and was killed at San Sebastian.

Another of my Albuera projects. I will soon be publishing D'Urban's report of the Albuera campaign. It was published in 1832 as an appendix to the Further Strictures on Napier's History of the Peninsular War. D'Urban wrote this report whilst the events were still fresh in his mind.
I expect both of these will be out before Christmas. Ask Santa for them!
